The auction will be held at the San Rafael Embassy Suites Hotel. The doors open at 6:00pm and the event concludes at 11:00pm. The Silent Auction starts right away, so don’t be late! The address is 101 McInnis Parkway, San Rafael 94903.

Are there any room discounts available at the Embassy Suites if I want to spend the night after the event?

Yes! We have been given a limited number of rooms at a discounted rates available to book using this link until February 28, 2026.

Who’s invited?

Anyone who would like to support San Ramon Elementary School is welcome to purchase a ticket to attend. Please note, any non-parents will be asked to sign a standard PTA waiver at the event.

Is this a theme party?

It is if you want it to be! The venue will be decorated and many guests will be wearing themed attire. You are invited to dress however you interpret “Dolphin Derby” – our take on The Kentucky Derby.

What is included with my ticket price?

Ticket pricing includes a 3-course dinner with entrée of your choice, the live and silent auctions, games and dancing. There will be a no-host cash bar as well. If you forget cash, there will be an ATM onsite.

What does it mean to “sponsor a table”?

Want to guarantee you can sit next to your friends? Round up your people and reserve a table of 10/12! The point person pays for the table fee up front and the others can reimburse the point person for their share. This pricing is in addition to the base ticket purchase and directly benefits the PTA. 

What happens with the money raised at this event?

The PTA is solely volunteer-run so every cent raised by the PTA goes directly back to the school to support our kids.  The funds raised at the auction go towards music, science, and art programs, field trips, assemblies, community events, teacher classroom budgets, and grade-level enrichment programs. Even the outdoor garden classroom is funded by the PTA, along with a multitude of other important programs, such as Universal Access Teachers, differentiation resources, and the Dolphin Lab.

Is there an online auction as well?

Yes! We are having a live auction with both an auctioneer and a silent auction but there is also an online auction for everyone who can't attend the live event.  We will post links to the online auction soon!
