When and where is this event happening?
The Auction will be held at the San Rafael Embassy Suites Hotel at 6:00pm (silent auction starts right away so don't be late!) on Friday, March 18th, 2022. The address is 101 McInnis Pkwy, San Rafael, CA 94903
Are there any room discounts available at the Embassy Suites if I want to spend the night the day of the event?
Yes! We have been given a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate, available to book using this link.
Who's Invited?
Anyone who would like to support San Ramon Elementary School is welcome to purchase a ticket to attend. Please note, any non-parents will be asked to sign a standard PTA waiver at the event. Is this a costume party?
It is if you want it to be! There will be people there in full 20s outfits but you can come in whatever you feel the most comfortable in.
What is included with my ticket price?
Besides dinner and dancing, live and silent auctions; ticket pricing also includes a 3 course dinner with entree of your choice. There will be a no host cash bar as well. If you forget cash, there will be an ATM in the hotel lobby.
What does it mean to sponsor a table of 10?
Want to guarantee you can sit next to your friends? Round up your people and reserve a table of 10 together! The point person pays the table fee up front and the others can reimburse them. This pricing is in addition to the base ticket purchase. So for example, you pay the $150 up front and then collect $15 per person from your friends. Each friend still purchases their own tickets of $95 per person.
Are masks required? What about vaccination cards?
We are following the local guidelines along with the guidelines the hotel sets out for us. At this point, masks are not required if you are vaccinated, and are recommended for those who are not vaccinated. What happens with the money raised at this event?
The PTA is solely volunteer run so every single cent raised by the PTA goes directly back to the school to support our kids. The funds raised at the auction go towards Universal Access Teachers, differentiation resources, tools like all the distance learning equipment we needed in the pandemic and the toolbox we are rolling out across campus now. The PTA funds music, science and art programs. All the field trips, assemblies, community events, teacher classroom budgets and even the outdoor garden classroom are also funded by the PTA along with a multitude of other things. Who can I talk to about this event or inquire about financial assistance?
Please reach out to San Ramon Elementary School's principal Mrs. Langford at alangford@nusd.org
Is there an online auction as well?
